Hotmelt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

Hotmelt Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA) are widely used for niche applications such as footwear and non wovens such as sanitary napkins and diapers. Makro Rekat PSA grades have also been used in labelling.

PSA adhesives are pressure activated, meaning that upon application of pressure, the adhesive becomes highly tacky (sticky). This class of adhesives require great knowledge to adjust to perfection. We can adjust the softness, wet tack, solid tack, viscosity and softening points of PSA according to your requirement. Colour, which is also important can also be adjusted. The raw material for our traditional HMPSA is SIS/SBS. Please also enquire about our NOVOTACK adhesive which will replace SIS/SBS PSA in the near future.
